Packaging

Containing the brand.

Successful packaging design, much like any other design, involves bringing together many varying specifications and criteria. A container carries the brand, must stand out and be easily recognisable in the clutter of the retail

environment. It must then also look the part in its final environment while the contents are being consumed. This final environment varies drastically depending on the product. From a kitchen counter at home to the bar counter at the

local watering hole. From the shelf in the shower to the shelf on a gas station forecourt. Other factors like drop testing, the capabilities of the manufacturing process, shipping, cost, and sometimes stacking also have to be considered.
